Catch him speaking at the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) this April. In 2006 Damon spoke at both the Chicago Magazine Writers conference and the first annual Sex in Video Game Conference.
Damon has a weakness for foreign travel, spicy food and port cities. He can speak enough Japanese to buy cool Tokyo trinkets. Oakland University’s Bachelors in Journalism program helped his ego, while Northwestern’s Masters in Magazine Publishing program humbled him. Both were necessary.
The Jersey native considers New Orleans, Chicago and Lansing (Michigan) his hometowns, but recently established his secret headquarters in Southern Northern California.
